MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS T20 MATCH * On the evening of 26th of November Druids CC and Yarraville Club CC will be playing a T20 match to promote awareness of Mental Health. Nearly 4 million Australians currently suffer from mental illness. This event has been registered with the ‘RUOK’ foundation and will form as a platform to both raise awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding Mental Health.

Both clubs have won their first two games of the round robin stage meaning that the winner of this match will progress through to the quarter finals. VTCA powerhouse Yarraville Club have been widely recognised as one of the strongest local clubs in the state boasting a side containing former state players Trent Lawford and Will Sheridan. The Druids lineup will also feature some star players and they are the reigning VTCA T20 champions being recently invited to compete in the Cricket Victoria regional T20 Blast.

The two West Footscray based clubs will be taking the field in what will be an exceptional display of cricket with a stronger underlying purpose of creating conversation about Mental Wellbeing.
