Dear Members, Parents and Players,

We hope you are all safe and well and managing through these uncertain and testing times.
Just a quick note to keep you informed about our junior cricket program for this season.

Teams for season 2020/2021.
YCCC will look to field the following teams:
• U11 – Friday nights
• U13 – Friday Night
• U16 Girls – Wednesday night
• U18 – Sundays
• Junior Blasters (ages 4-9) will return to Saturday morning at 9.30 am
While season start dates are still up in the air (we typically start in mid-October) we can confirm that the association (WRJCA) has been in constant contact with clubs and has provided return to play protocols and policies for us to follow. We will continue to update you on these as well as possible season and training start times when more information is known.

If you have friends, relatives or people you know who would love a game of cricket please let us know. The club is particularly interested in fielding an all-girls team and would be keen to understand the level of interest for this.

Coaches
The club has a new senior coach, Mitch Johnstone, he comes with a wealth of experience, recently senior coach at Premier Club Essendon and understands the importance of having a strong junior program.

The club is also pleased to announce that Daniel Janka will coach our U18 side for the upcoming season with help from James Damjanovski.

We are currently seeking coaches for our U11, U13 and U16 teams and would be keen to hear from anyone (member, current player, past player, parent) who would be interested in being involved in the coming season. Other important roles in our junior programs are assistant coach, team manager or scorer so please reach out if you think you can help in these areas also.
