Michael O’keefe on Adam:
Adam has had a very decorated career not only with our club but over the VTCA for more than a decade.

It took a couple of years and many phone calls to entice Adam to our club from royal park Brunswick, where his whole family played a massive role in making Royal Park a strong club for many years. Adam’s loyalty to his family and club made it a very hard decision for him to leave which says a lot about Adam’s character and the closeness to his family.

Many of us who were fortunate enough to compete against him, also had the pleasure to have Adam as our team mate and experience great success for many years and hope there are many more to come with you taking on the assistant coaches role for the 2020/21 season.

Off the field Adam has proven his loyalty to the club attending all functions and being the last to leave on most occasions.

Adam on behalf of everyone from the Yarraville Club Cricket club, thank you for making the tough decision eight years ago and giving everyone involved with the club the opportunity to see your passion, desire and will to compete, these are some of the many things that you are so widely respected for, from not only your peers but the wider cricket community.

Billy and Sam have bought great enjoyment and entertainment with their enthusiasm for any sport, not to mention their Boxing and wrestling skills, we look forward to watching their development, and we hope to see them wearing the Yarraville Club colours in the future, and hopefully wear the Bulldog Guernsey like dad.

Good news Clubbers, Adam is not leaving us completely, signing on as Assistant Coach for Season 2020/21. His knowledge and experience will be invaluable to our developing playing group and we look forward to seeing what Adam brings this season!
